HELLO HELLO

I’m Zosh, a multi-disciplinary designer who has spent the last 5 years immersed in building ed-tech and fin-tech products.

I wear many hats - I design interfaces, do research, manage products, develop websites, analyze data, teach courses, create ads, and am even a founder! And I do this because I like leading projects hands-on from ideation to execution making the lives of people less stressful and more delightful.

I just joined Zesty.io — a content management system to help enterprises to build content driven websites and apps. As their Senior Product Designer I will be leading design on our product and growth teams elevating the experiences people have in making great marketing websites. I'm super excited for this opportunity!

Keep an eye out for posts about the great projects we are working on.

Most recently I was at Pathrise — an online mentorship program for job seekers in tech. Here I led the design of our learning management system for 2 years, designing solutions to alleviate the pain people feel in the job search.

Some achievements during my time here include:

  1. Establishing a data driven mentorship culture through the design of a monitoring dashboard
  2. Crafting tools that significantly reduced the time mentors spent in sharing feedback with fellows.
  3. Launching a chrome extension that allowed fellows to automatically track the jobs they are applying to.
  4. Mentoring 70+ fellows, helping them land their dream jobs at companies like Facebook, Amazon, and Deloitte.

In 2019, I founded UX Library  — a one step website for people to learn and explore UX that now has 100k annual visitors! I now actively spend my time outside of work designing and building v3 of our site.

Prior to this, I worked at CryptoBriefing, a crypto news website, leading the design process to make the reading experience more insightful for crypto-investors. Before that I was at ISDI, building monitoring dashboards for teachers and A&R, designing their agency site.

Currently I’m at Pathrise   — an online mentorship program helping people land their dream job in tech. Here I have led the design of our learning management system for 2 years, designing solutions to alleviate the pain people feel in the job search.

I also spend my time improving UX Library  — a one step website I founded in 2019 for people to learn and explore UX design. We now have 100k annual visitors!

Prior to this, I worked at CryptoBriefing, a crypto news website, leading the design process to make the reading experience more insightful for crypto-investors. Before that I was at ISDI, building monitoring dashboards for teachers and A&R, designing their agency site.

I also teach design and business analytics. I've taught 3000+ students!

Since 2017, I’ve been teaching UX Design and Business Analytics. I've taught for the University of Washington, Adobe, ISME (now Atlas University), Pathrise, DubsTech, Collearn, Coding with Kids, Let’s Level Up, and Great Learning.

I’ve been privileged to teach and mentor over 3000+ students at these institutions, helping them get jobs at companies like:

If you'd like me to add meaningful value to your school, job search, or career, schedule a call with me or send me a message.

Did I mention I've been a data scientist for multiple organizations?

While studying at the University of Washington, I worked as a data scientist at multiple data labs and also specialized in Data Science. I now work as BI consultant, teach data analytics, and use data to empower my design process.

Below are a few of my publicly available projects.

Mass Shootings Dashboard: Highlighting the severity of mass shootings in 2016 in the United States of America
Seattle Collisions BI Report: Empowering the Seattle Department of Transportation with tools to make Seattle's roads safer
CS For All Dashboard: Made to help Washington state make informed resource allocation decisions for K-12 Computer Science education
Best Death Bowlers in the IPL Dashboard: Sports Analytics done for the IPL 2021 Auction

A little bit more about me

Education

Since I was 4, I've been learning computers. In fact I learned HTML, MS Office, and Photoshop all before the 8th grade! And this passion for creating things digitally continued even going into college for my degrees.
